Jo reggeit kivanok HsinJu,

It means good morning in Hungarian. I woke up early, and took a bath this morning. Most of spas open from 6 a.m. to the evening. It seems you should take a bath during the daytime.
I visited Kiraly Spa which is about 2.5 kilometers (1.5 miles) from my hotel. The spa was established in 1570 while Hungary was occupied by Turkey. Hot water is brought from Lukacs through pipe. It was damaged in World War 2, but started again in 1959.
The roof of the building is an Islamic dome roof. The water temperature wasn't hot enough, but it was relaxing.

I'm going to see the sights in Lukacs, the origin of Kiraly Spa, after this.

I'm in Heroes Square. It was built in 1896 to celebrate the millennium of the Hungarian conquest of the Carparthian Basin,
and is a vast and grandiose symbol of 19th century Hungarian nationalism.
The picture is of Heroes Square. It's lively with a lot of tourists and street vendors.

Incidentally, Budapest's subway is the second oldest in Europe, next to London's subway.

(*yawning*) Oops! I'm sorry. I fell asleep because I had eaten a lot.
I'd eaten pork, bacon, mushrooms, vegetables and soup. The soup was simply well-boiled fish and liver. After that, I ate chocolate cake as dessert.
Did you think I over-ate, HsinJu? No! I worked hard to send you beautiful pictures, so I was hungry.

Look at the picture, HsinJu. It's of the Western Railway Station and the castle.

I've arrived at Keszthely near Lake Balaton, which is the largest freshwater lake in central Europe. This is about 100 kilometers (60 miles) southwest of Budapest. They say you can catch a lot of fish. Of course, I ate fish cuisine. :-)
I took a walk around Keszthely, and went and learnt a lot at the Balaton Museum.

The picture is of Festetics Palace. It has over 100 rooms.
It's not a national palace. It's a personal palace! The nobility in the Middle Ages must have been ultra rich!
